Objective

Kitcast, a Silicon Valley-based start in the Content Management System space engaged Revenue Institute to build out an automated Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy from scratch. Kitcast focused on digital sign management. When you walk into a Walmart of Home Depot and you see media playing on the TV's, all of that is managed by a digital CMS. This also applies screens throughout a corporate office. As a small startup team of immigrants from Ukraine, Kitcast had it's work cut out for it. Without any network in the industry, the company was the underdog in an industry dominated by billion dollar companies, including Samsung.

Challenge

Vice President and C-Suite level executives in marketing and corporate communications are not easy people to reach. There are layers of teams to get through to talk to the final decision maker in the targeted Fortune 500 companies. As with any startup, Kitcast did not have the cash flow (even though they were Y-Combinator backed) to take 24 months to land the right meetings and close a few deals. The team needed to see results in months, not years. And, with English not being their native language nor the desire to hire overpaid Silicon Valley sales reps, they needed a creative solution. That's when they reached out to the Revenue Institute.

Solution

Revenue Institute implemented a series of AI BDRs and SDRs with Intel and Ops Agents supporting them. This AI workforce identified and targeted in-market prospects, reached out to them with hyper-personalized messaging, and booked meetings for their sales team. Kitcast was able to skip the typically long sales cycle before getting to the decision-makers. Instead, they skipped the line and landed enterprise meetings with C-Suite executives. Together, these Agents were able to generate meetings via hyper-targeted cold outreach at over a dozen Fortune 500 companies within 120 days. This resulted in deals with Facebook, Apple, and Disney.

Results:

Fortune 500 Penetration

Due to the effectiveness of the AI agents built just for Kitcast, the company was able to land multiple Fortune 500 clients within the span of 120 days. This logo acquisition gave them credibility and improved conversion rates in deals generated by the Agents thereafter.

Cash Flow Stabilization

With new 7-figure deals landed, Kitcast had the cash flow to further invest in R&D as well as for a new VP of Business Development poached from a competitor. It enabled Kitcast to not just make their mark, but become an industry later over the next 2 years.

Increased Deal Velocity

For deals that should typically take 180-360 days at a minimum, the combination of the leadership being subject-matter experts (SMEs) and AI agents increasing the deal flow, Kitcast was able to reduce their sales process down to an average of 118 days.
