Objective

Identity Matrix was born out of the Revenue Institute itself. In 2023, the company developed a unique combination of AI and big data to identify anonymous website visitors in the U.S. It meant sales and marketing teams could tap into their ideal prospects that were on their site, but didn't fill out a form. This anonymous traffic accounts for 98% of any website's traffic. Eventually, this project turned into a separate entity run by much of the same team from Revenue Institute. After 7-figures in R&D, the company went to market in 2024 and ended up raising a venture capital round of funding.

Challenge

While Identity Matrix was developed by the Revenue Institute, the company was short on spare manpower while also delivering for customers and running internal operations. On top of that, the company was going toe-to-toe with legacy, inferior competitors that had huge teams, well-known branding, and billions in funding. Identity Matrix had to be quick, agile, and listen intensely to market feedback. While typically insurmountable, this challenge would prove to be the Revenue Institute's largest display of using AI and data to land deals of any size. Pricing for Identity Matrix ranged from $150 per month to $25,000 per month. AI had to understand and tailor the customer journey to both ends of the spectrum.

Solution

Over the course of 6 months, Identity Matrix went from a dumpster fire for money due to high data and R&D costs to a prominent, well-known sales and marketing tool. With a mix of the Revenue Institute's AI BDR, SDR, Ops, Intel, and Marketing Agents, Identity Matrix was able to penetrate the market primarily through outbound sales efforts, targeted LinkedIn marketing, and constant optimization of the website to maximize conversions. By September of 2025, the company was acquired by Springbot, a leading sales and marketing company in Charleston, South Carolina.

Results:

From Unknown to Market Leader

Identity Matrix had no product and no users at the beginning. Within 18 months, it had 100+ customers, processed millions of web visitors per month, and generated positive cash flow. This was all possible without a single employee in sales or marketing.

Identity Matrix had 0 sales and marketing professionals on the team. Instead, AI had to truly take care of prospects and customers like it was a person itself while teeing up enterprise deals for the Founder & CEO of both Identity Matrix and the Revenue Institute.

Funding & Acquisition:

Identity Matrix had zero connections to VC investors and potential acquirers. Within the span of 18 months, the company showed enough traction through AI Agents to do both. The company became VC-backed by prominent investors and was acquired in September of '25.
