Objective

helloCash is an Austrian point-of-sale (POS) platform serving Europe’s DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region. When they approached the Revenue Institute, the company was doing great driving users to the free version of their product. However, only 7% of leads converted into a paid plan. To reach their growth goals, HelloCash had the objective of reducing customer acquisition costs through better marketing automation, activation, and nurturing. That's when the company reached out to the Revenue Institute for creative solutions.

Challenge

The POS company was a powerhouse with free users, but they were converting a mere 7% of their inbound leads and had very slim margins for paid users to begin with. HelloCash had to create a lead activation system that converted leads without requiring a personal demo for each account. Manpower wasn't an option when the entire company was built on a low-margin, high-volume strategy. On top of this, the team had to accommodate multiple languages: German, French, Italian, and English in order to really convert users.

Solution

Revenue Institute customized a series of AI agents to help with the conversion rate of freemium leads. This included a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Agent that specialized in following customers through their journey to identify weak points in messaging, features, and user adoption. Another Agent leveraged was the Behavioral Marketing Agent. Based on a given user's behavior on the platform, it knew exactly when and what to send for nurturing the user best. Lastly, the Ops agent was used to help onboard and facilitate the paperwork necessary when signing up for a POS. Within 4 hours of deploying all three agents, $710k in annual recurring revenue (ARR) was generated above the baseline revenue helloCash would have traditionally closed.
